Today feels not quite right.

I know the air is heavy but it feels thin.

Things are good, but everything’s dark around the edges.

I’m missing something important, something right in front of my eyes.

It’s like I’m not lined up quite right with the Earth this day.

I’m seeing fragments of what’s truly there.

And it’s all lost in translation.
